Admission Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in nutrition and
  • Has completed the content, duration and structure of the training course sport nutritionist, recognized by the Personnel Certification Body PersCert TÜV
Examination Components:
  • Written exam (multiple choice)
Required Competencies:

Able to explain

  • How to assess nutritional status
  • How to 
perform nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention
  • How to monitor and evaluate nutrition
Recertification:

A renewal of the certificate for further 3 years is possible at the end of the period of validity of the existing certificate.

The following is to be proven for recertification:

  • Successful participation in a relevant further training comprising a minimum of 15  teaching units during the validity period of the certificate (Documentation e.g. copy of the confirmation of participation)
    and / or
  • Proof of continued professional experience with tasks relevant to sport nutrition
