Admission Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in  Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automobile, Mechanical Production, Chemical Engineering, or
  • Master of Engineering/ Masters in Technology/ Graduates of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automobile, Mechanical Production, Chemical Engineering, or
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automobile, Mechanical Production, Chemical Engineering, or
  • Professionals with at least 2 years of experience in the related field.
  • Participation in the 220 hours training course “Post Graduate Diploma in Oil and Gas Piping QC Engineer” of SMEC Labs recognized by the Personnel Certification Body. Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80% of the teaching units.

  • Written exam (multiple choice and open questions
  • Practical exam
Required Competencies:

Successful candidates have proven the following competencies:

  • Ability to execute Piping construction as per ASME B31.3 standards.
  • Good knowledge in Piping Isometric drawings.
  • Good knowledge in development of untrue pipe fittings.
  • Ability to prepare BOQ(Bill of quantity) as per requirement.
