Admission requirement for the participation in the training programme and the certification is authorisation as a doctor (human medicine).

Required Competencies:

Doctors with this additional qualification have interdisciplinary competence in the treatment of chronic wounds. In particular they are familiar with the practically relevant fields of the treatment chain and know the specialist possibilities and tasks of the cooperating network partners.

After 5 years, a recertification showing proof of suitable further training activity is necessary.
