Practical experience as a Professional or Master in construction work

Successful participation in the 2 day training course “Professional for Storm Damage Management” (ISS) recognized by the certification body. Admission to the examination is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80%.

Written examination (multiple choice and open questions)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Rules and regulations for the obligation to mimimise damage in storms
• Fundamentals of contract law and insurance contract law
• Differentiation between recovery obligations and maintenance work
• Methods of emergency protection and health and safety
• Practical knowledge of measuring technology and component drying methods
• Building materials and building physics
• Rules and measures for decontamination
• Creation of documentation and minutes in the limitation of damage
