• Completed vocational training as a healthcare professional/nurse or
• Completed vocational training as a geriatric nurse and
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience within the last five years.
• Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Academy’s qualification „Care Advisor (TÜV)“, recognized by the certification body, as well as demonstrations of performance during the course. Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80%.

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Legal fundamentals
• Shaping and steering of processes and quality of results
• Solution-oriented interaction that is suitable for the target group
• Survey of degree of independence and assistance requirements
• Assessment of preventive and rehabilitation potential
• Preparation of advice and training concepts that accompany theory
• Preparation , steering and evaluation of care plans and training courses
• Project work and intervention logic

„Care Advisors (TÜV)“ can oversee and categorize the responsibilities of a care advisor in a differentiated manner. Thus, they are in a position to develop and implement a patient-related case and care management. They can prepare and professionally implement advice and training concepts as well as steer and evaluate patient-related care plans.
