Admission Requirements
The „Welding Foreman - Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TÜV) is a welding process oriented version of the “Welding Foreman (TÜV) qualification”. The following valid welder examinations need to be passed:
- DIN EN ISO 9606-1 141 T BW FM1 oder FM3 S s≥4,0 D≥50 PC ss nb
- DIN EN ISO 9606-1 141 T BW FM5 S s≥4,0 D≥50 PH ss nb
- DIN EN ISO 9606-2 141 T BW 22
oder
23 S t≥4,0 D≥50 PF ss nb
Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie qualification course “Welding Practitioner (TÜV)” and “Welding Practitioner – Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TÜV)” recognized by PersCert TÜV.

Required Competencies
In the examination participants must put their practical skills in tungsten inert gas welding processes to the test.
The "Welding Foreman - Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TÜV)" is a Welding Foreman qualification oriented towards the welding process. It authorizes for practical and specialist theoretical master tasks for the welding process 141 (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding). -
Recertification
The participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
