  The independent and voluntary Green Product test mark helps consumers to identify environmentally compatible consumer goods at a glance.

  Through the use of recycled materials, low emission of pollutants, a checked carbon footprint or high energy efficiency, a company shows that sustainable products are an integral part of their company philosophy.

  The Green Product requirements follow the ideas of the Brundtland concept and are based on well-known environmental and energy efficiency standards, such as REACH, WEEE or Energy Star. The certified products include, among other things, monitors, household appliances, leisure and sports equipment, and furniture.

  Since 1 January 2016, TÜV Rheinland has been issuing test marks with individual ID numbers by default. These marks directly refer to specific information on product and testing.

  Test marks with the number 0100000000 can be found on many products which were certified before 2016. For more detailed information about these products, please use the search function. Enter the certificate number, the product name, or the manufacturer’s name.
