The test mark "Trusted specialist company" or "WRA specialist company" is awarded to companies recognized as such under § 19 of the Water Resources Act (German: WHG). Companies need this approval when they maintain, install, set up, clean or construct facilities that deal with substances that could potentially contaminate water. Regular inspections are required for certification and include factory inspection, specialist conversations with water rights officials, and inspection of construction sites.
