Zulassungsvoraussetzungen
The participants bring the following educational background:
- Student or graduate in Energy, Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering OR vocational degree as Technician in Energy, Electrical or Civil Work
AND
Participation in the training course “Design & Sizing of Renewable Energy Systems” of the provider EADIC approved by PersCert TÜV.
The course duration is 90 hours. The assistance is documented by the provider by the signature of the participant. Admission to the exam is subject to a minimum attendance of 80%. -

Nachzuweisende Kompetenzen
In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:
- Fundamentals of solar and wind energy;
- Design and maintenance of a photovoltaic installation;
- Sizing, design and maintenance of solar thermal power systems and plants;
- Design, execution and operation of a wind farm;
- Fundamentals of alternative renewable energies and technologies incl. hydraulic and mini hydraulic power, geothermal and tidal energy, biomass and biofuels, hydrogen and fuel cells.
Successful candidates have the competence in order to:
- Explain the design, dimension and maintenance of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems and plants;
- Explain the design, implementation and operational output of a wind farm;
- Describe other renewable energies.

Rezertifizierung
Participants demonstrate the relevance of their competence in a recertification process.
