Certification Program Title:Industrial Robots Operator (TÜV)
Admission Requirements:

The participants bring the following educational and professional background:

  • Secondary vocational school degree or above, with at least 1 year of work experience in core-areas of mechatronics, robotics or relative majors or engagement in robotic related work

AND

Participation in the training course “Industrial Robot Operator (TÜV)“ provided by TÜV Rheinland Academy. The course duration is 7 days with a total of 49 hours. Admission to the exam is subject to a minimum attendance of 90%.

  • Written exam
  • Practical exam
Required Competencies:

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Fundamental knowledge of industrial robots
  • Basic operation of industrial robots
  • Maintenance of industrial robots.

Successful candidates have the competence in order to:

  • Operate robots to do material handling and palletizer, welding, glue spreading and component assembly
  • Operate robots to do quality inspections
  • Perform regular maintenance.
Recertification:

Participants demonstrate the relevance of their competence in a recertification process.
