The participants bring the following professional background:

• Be in possession of the PersCert certificate of “Chainsaw Technician with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification” 
  OR
• Demonstrable experience in the last 3 years
  OR
• Statement of experience and responsibility of the current employer
  
  AND

Participation in the training course “Advanced Training in Chainsaw Management” (Formación Avanzada en Manejo De Motossiera) of the provider Internaco/Husqvarna approved by PersCert TÜV. The course duration is 3 days with a total of 24 hours. The presence is documented by the provider by signature of the participant. Admission to the exam is subject to a minimum attendance of 80%.

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Advanced knowledge and skills for the planning of felling in more complicated and emergency situations in order to carry out this work safely and effectively
• Use a chainsaw with the correct safety measures according to:
  - Special protection equipment (EPI´S)
  - Machinery maintenance review (revisión maquinaria)
  - Machinery handling (manejo de maquinaria)
  - Tree cutting (apeo del arbol)
  - Field preparation (preparación del area)
  - Coordination measures between operators (coordinación entre operarios)

Successful candidates have the competence in order to:

• Choose the Husqvarna appropriate chainsaw
• Choose the appropriate material in order to plan and prepare the correct use of it

Participants demonstrate the relevance of their competence in a recertification process.
