The participants bring the following educational and/or professional background:

• State recognized college degree; and
• Relevant training on ISO 9001:2015; and
• Familiar with the organization’s quality management system; and
• Has been in the organization for at least 1 year occupying senior or line supervisor position; and
• Successful participation in the 19-hour training course ‘QMS internal Auditor for 1st and 2nd Party” by Rosehall Management Consultants Inc., recognized by PersCert TÜV. Admission to the examinations are granted upon a minimum attendance of 90% of the total 19 training hours.

• Written exam

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 requirements and ISO 19011:2018 guidelines;
• Quality management, risk management, and auditing principles;
• Auditor’s personal behavior and auditing techniques and skills.      

In a recertification process participants have to prove their expertise is up to date:

1. Successful participation in a relevant further training comprising a minimum of 8-hour teaching units during the validity period of the certificate (e.g. copy of the confirmation of participation) ; and/or
2. Proof of continued professional experience with tasks relevant to quality management system; and/or
3. Proof of a minimum of related good application in an organization and/or as a Consultant (e.g. Audits or list of written expertise carried out or produced during the period of initial certification.

On fulfillment of recertification requirements the certificate is renewed by a further 3 years.
