Admission Requirements: |
- Master of Engineering / Master in Technology in Thermal Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Automobile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Technology, Industrial Engineering, Product Design and Development or Industrial Safety Engineering
- Bachelor in Engineering / Bachelor in Technology in Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Metallurgical, Metallurgy and Material Technology, Marine, Petroleum or Petrochemical
- Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical, Metallurgical, Metallurgy and Material Technology, Marine, Petroleum and Petrochemical
- Successful participation in the Future NDT training course „Post Graduate Diploma in Quality and Industrial Engineering “, recognized by the Personnel Certification Body.
- Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80% of the total 1500 Hours teaching units.

- Basics on thermal power plant, boiler, turbine, erection, hydraulic test and operation
- Basics on petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas industries like commission maintenance, risk analysis, hydrothermal cracking, pipelines, storage tanks
- Steel plants, ship building, marine, aerospace industries process & NDT applications
- Codes & Standards
- Basics on ASME Section V, ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1,
ASME Section IX, ASNT- SNT-TC- 1A, API- RP-2X, ISO 9001, ISO 19011,
AWS-CWI / CSWIP
Successful candidates are in a position to…
- Perform NDT & welding inspections
- Perform maintenance & operation activities of thermal power plants
- Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials
- Perform acceptance & rejections of discontinuous as per ASME codes & specifications
