Certification Program Title:Career Counselor with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification
Admission Requirements:

State recognized Bachelor’s Degree (any field) and minimum 2 years of work experience and successful participation in the APT Evolution training program “Career Counselor” which has been recognized by PersCert TÜV for its content, duration and structure. Should deviations from the defined curriculum occur, PersCert TÜV is to be informed immediately. Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum of 80% attendance of the APT “Career Counselor” courses.

  • Oral Exam

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Communication skills
  • Interviewing clients requesting guidance and career development services
  • Consultancy for career and career development at individual and group level
  • Support in job search
  • Coaching for career development
  • Labor market consultancy services

Successful candidates are in a position to:

  • Successfully run a professional career counselling practice/perform in a career counsellor job in NGOs or various European funded projects
  • Easily build interpersonal relationships
  • Communicate with ease with different kind of people
  • Perform accurate people evaluations
  • Conduct professional interviews
  • Perceiving, understanding emotional intelligence
