• A completed vocational qualification majors in science or technology and a minimum of two years professional experience relevant to playgrounds
• Successful participation in the 2 day training course ‘Professional of playground safety according to EN 1176-1/3/10’ recognized by the Personnel Certification Body. Admission to the examination is given on a minimum attendance of 80%

• Written exam (multiple choice and open questions)
• Practical exam

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Safety and maintenance relevant requirements according to EN 1176-1/3/10
• Technical safety requirements and risk assessment according to EN 1176-1/3/10
• Inspection, maintenance and safety management according to EN 1176-1/3/10.

Successful candidates have the competence in order to:

• Assure the safety of playground according to EN 1176-1/3/10
• Structure a test report

The participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process:

• More than 3 testing or inspection reports in last 2 years
• Training record with the latest version of EN 1176 (if applicable)
