Successful participation in the Trilux-Academy’s qualification „Light Planner (TÜV)-RELUX“ or „Light Planner (TÜV)-DIALUX, recognized by the personnel certification body. The training consist of two classroom and one self-study phase. Fundamental knowledge of lighting technology is required as a prerequisite.

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Fundamental standard specifications
• Planning fundamentals of indoor lighting (office, industry)
• Planning fundamentals of outdoor lighting (parking lot, pathways, illumination)
• Maintenance factors
• Assessment areas
• Areas
• Textures, colors and reflection surfaces

Competences in the following areas are demonstrated in the planning task:

• Visualization options
• Presentation techniques
• Optimization of planning tasks
• Project presentation

Light planners (TÜV) are capable of applying fundamental knowledge and techniques for the realization of planning requirements of indoor and outdoor lighting (except street lighting).

They are in a position to develop and present ready-to-use light concepts according to the customer’s requirements with the support of the planning software RELUX or DIALUX.

Participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
