Admission Requirements:

Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Academy’s qualification „Expert for Sustainable Supply Chain Management (TÜV)“, recognized by the personnel certification body. Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80% of the 16 teaching units.

Examination Components:
  • Written exam (multiple choice)
Required Competencies:

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Normative fundamentals
  • Roles of  the stakeholders
  • Identification and risk assessment of supply chains
  • Supply chain management
  • Prioritizing, evaluating and monitoring of suppliers
  • Corrective measures
  • Supplier development

“Experts for Sustainable Supply Chain Management (TÜV)” are drivers of a comprehensive optimization of supply chain processes and know how to measure and communicate progress. They know the drivers and (legal) requirements related to compliance with human rights, social and environmental standards in supply chains and can define the specific sustainability issues for their company. In doing so, they know how sustainability risks in supply chains can be identified and evaluated and are in a position to implement the necessary procedures for sustainable supply chain management.

Recertification:

Participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
