Admission Requirements
Successful qualifications “IT Security Representative (TÜV)” and “IT Security Manager (TÜV)" as well as relevant professional experience are pre-requisites.
Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie qualification course “IT Security Auditor (TÜV)” recognized by the certification body. Admission to the exam is granted when 80% of the 16 teaching units have been attended.

Required Competencies
In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:
- Overall legal and organizational conditions of an audit
- The audit process according to ISO 19011
- Document inspection
- Verification
- Creation of audit report
- Presentation of weaknesses according to risk
“IT Security Auditors (TÜV)” have sound knowledge in order to prepare, carry out and document security audits, as well as optimize the IT security level if necessary.

Recertification
The participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
