State recognized vocational qualification

e.g. completed specific vocational qualification, Master Craftsman qualification or course of study in the corresponding field and successful completion of the course "Internal Auditor ISO 45001 (TÜV)", which was approved according to the content, duration and structure by PersCert TÜV.

Examination Components:
  • Written exam (multiple choice and open questions)

  • State of the standard definition for Occupational Health & Safety Management
  • Adoption of Annex SL, understanding of HLS
  • Context of the organization
  • Leadership and worker participation
  • Risk-based thinking and process approach
  • Preventing ill-health and injury
  • Legal fundamentals / corporate responsibility
  • Fundamentals of operational management systems
  • Integration into other management systems
  • Document management
  • Documentation of an Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
  • Principles of auditing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Behavior of auditors in the process of auditing a safety management system and occupational health.

Successful candidates have the competence in order to:

  • Knowledge of alignment of a management system to the new requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 standard, application and implementation of the requirements of a health and safety management system at work.

In a recertification process participants have to prove their expertise is up to date:

  1. Proven professional experience of at least 2 audits/year,
  2. Participation in 1 day of relevant training or experience exchange.
