• Relevant professional experience in the area of wellness.
• Successful participation in the Bädercoach GmbH’s training, recognized by the personnel certification body.

The training includes 123 theoretical and practical teaching units and a 4-week internship.
Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80% in the training.

• Written exam (multiple choice and open questions)
• Practical exam (presentation and carrying out of infusions)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Development of the sauna and bathing culture
• Medical fundamentals
• Fragrances, use of aromas
• Infusion and wafting techniques
• Fundamentals of sauna technique, occupational safety, fire protection and emergency response, handling of hazardous substances
• Cleaning and hygiene
• Contract, house, traffic, labor, criminal law and dealing with criminal offences
• Communication training, de-escalation, role behavior, typical  problems and conflicts in a sauna
• Service processes and their optimization

Successful candidates have the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to ensure the safe and hygienic operation of the sauna facilities and wellness area. They advise clients on the options and health risks when using sauna and wellness facilities.

Participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
