A. State recognized degree in any one of the following

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Mechanical, Production and Automobile or
• Diploma in Mechanical, Production and Automobile

      or, alternatively

• Suitably qualified professionals, who want to upgrade their qualifications, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in QA/QC Mechanical Engineering

B.Successful participation in the IREZ Academy qualification QA/QC Engineer Mechanical with a duration of 200 hours and recognized by the Personnel Certification Body. The admission to the exam is granted with a minimum participation of 80%.

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Quality Inspection process and methods related to Oil & Gas industry
• Welding:
  • Codes & Standards like WPS, PQR, WQT
  • Material properties and welding processes
  • Identification of welding defects and inspection
  • Heat treatment and Non-Destructive test methods
• Piping and Pipeline Engineering:
  • Codes & Standards like ASME Section IX, II, B31
  • Material specifications; mechanical piping equipment
  • Testing methods related to piping

Successful graduates are in a position to

• perform quality inspections in the Oil & Gas industry
• perform welding inspections
• perform inspections and testing related to piping
• perform non-destructive-testing, level II
