Admission Requirements:

Successful participation in the qualification „Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt (TÜV)“, recognized by PersCert TÜV. Admission to the exam is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80%.

Examination Components:
  • Written exam (multiple choice)
  • DMAIC Assignment as homework (optional)
Required Competencies:

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Basic knowledge of the DMAIC-methodology
  • Basics of process optimization

“Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt (TÜV) are capable of conducting - partly independently - with the support of a Master Black Belt, Black Belt or Green Belt - smaller optimization workshops (e.g. Kaizen) according to the DMAIC-methodology. Using a systematic approach based on the DMAIC-methodology Yellow Belts can effectively support the success of an enhancement team and help to bring the necessary transparency into processes in order to identify potential for improvement
