• A Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent competence level)
• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Successful participation in the D & F Consulting B.V. qualification „Machine safety specialist (CE)“ with a duration of 4 days à 8 hours and recognized by the certification body of TÜV. The admission to the exam is granted with a minimum participation of 80%.

  • EN/ISO 13850 and IEC/EN 60204-1
  • EN/ISO 13855 and IEC/EN 61496-1
  • EN/ISO 14119
  • PL standard EN/ISO 13849-1
  • SIL standard IEC/EN 62061

Successful graduates are in a position to

• identify and implement the applicable European standards,
• draw up the relevant documents
  • user manual of a machine
  • technical file of a machine
  • EU Declaration of conformity
  • Lay-out of a CE type plate,
• understand and apply the CE marking process,
• know and apply the different risk estimation tools and principles of safety integration and to
• perform a risk assessment for a machine acc. to EN/ISO 12100.

In a recertification process the participants will have to make proof of their up to date expertise.
