Alternatively Between Admission 1 and Admission 2

Admission 1:

• Completed the 3 year college degree in the major of science and engineering AND
• A minimum of 1 year working experience in the related field OR
• Maintain the bachelor degree of science and engineering with half year working experience in the related field AND
• Satisfy the ISO 9712 vision requirements AND
• The successful participation in the 56 hours training course ‘Magnetic Testing Personnel—Level 2 with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification’ at the minimum of 80% attendance

OR

Admission 2:
People obtained the same level qualification on ISO 9712 that recognized by ‘The Chinese Society of NDT’ can successfully attend the examination without the training session

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Select the Magnetic Testing technique to be used
• Define the limitations of application of the Magnetic Testing
• Translate Magnetic Testing codes, standards, specifications, and procedures into Magnetic Testing instructions adapted to the actual working conditions
• Set up and verify equipment settings
• Perform and supervise Magnetic Testing
• Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes, specifications or procedures
• Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below level 2 of Magnetic Testing
• Provide guidance for personnel at or below level 2 of Magnetic Testing
• Report the results of Magnetic Testing

• Proof of continued working experience with tasks relevant to magnetic testing in past 5 years
• Satisfy the ISO 9712 vision requirements
