Admission Requirements:
  • Obtain the electrician certification issued by Local Government AND
  • High school degree or Vocational school degree or above AND
  • Minimum of 2 years technical working experience on the field of traditional vehicle or its related components AND
  • The successful participation in the 21 hours training course ‘Electric Vehicle High Voltage Safety Technician - Stage 2 with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification’ at the minimum of 80% attendance

Required Competencies:

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Familiar with the high voltage system on EV
  • Familiar with electrical hazards and first aid method
  • Familiar with the protection measures against electric shock and fault arcs on EV
  • Familiar with special and man-management responsibility
  • Be able to work on HV systems in the non-live state on EV
  • Be able to measure current, voltage, resistance
  • Be able to execute five safety rules
  • Be able to measure the protective insulation and potential equalization on EV
     
Recertification:

Proof of continued professional experience with tasks relevant to BGI/GUV-I8686E stage 2
