• Relevant completed course of study (e.g. Economics, Informatics or Engineering) and a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in the field of certification within the last 8 years

or

• Relevant completed vocational training and a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in the field of certification

and

• Successful participation in the Akademie des Fachverband zertifizierter Gutachter e.V. training course comprising 40 teaching units, recognized by the certification body

• Written examination (multiple choice)
• Evaluation report as assignment

In the examination participants prove their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:

• Fundamentals of digital forensics for Windows Operatingf systems
• Securing evidence
• Data evaluation
• Documentation

Successful candidates know the techniques of forensics for Windows operating systems and are capable of carrying out collection and protection of evidence for use before a court, as well as IT forensic analysis and presentation of results in evaluation reports.
