Successful participation in the preparatory course according to the curriculum of Caballero & Hesselbarth Consulting GmbH.

Admission to the exam is granted on 80% participation in the 40 teaching units. Participants wishing to use the Ummanned Aircraft System (UAS) as a Commercial Pilot (CP) must be at least 18 years of age.

In the written exam candidates prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Air traffic law
• Air space
• Meteorology
• Technology
• Management

In the practical examination candidates prove they have the competence to safely and properly pilot a UAS under real operating conditions.

“CP-UAS-Pilots with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification“ have proven, that they fulfill the personal requirements to pilot UAS in public air space. The successfully completed exam serves as a training certificate for the German Aviation Authority and insurance companies alike.

“CP-UAS-Pilots with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification" prove their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
