Participation in the 240 hours training course of IPCS recognized by the Personnel Certification Body

and

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)(Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical or Mechatronics) or
• Diploma (Electronics ,Electrical, Instrumentation) or
• Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) Electronics candidates

or

A professional with 2 minimum years’ experience in the related field is also eligible.

Written exam (multiple choice)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Electrical drives and controls
• Field Instrumentation and Pneumatics
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
• Distributed Control System (DCS)
• Human Machine Interface (HMI)
• Control panel designing
• Variable Frequency Drive

Successful candidates have the skills for working in automation units in Industries and sound knowledge of automation systems.
