Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH qualification “Event Manager (TÜV)” according to § 38 section 2 of the German Model Event Regulation (MVStättVO) DIN 15750 and recognized by the certification body. Admission to the exam is granted on a minimum attendance of 80%.

Written examination (multiple choice and open questions)

In the exam participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Occupational safety and accident prevention in the construction and dismantling phase and during an event
• Event-specific construction and procedural organization according to DIN 15750
• The new German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV) of 01/06/2015
• Event-specific and health and safety responsibility
• General and event-specific road safety obligations
• Safety goals of the German Model Event Regulation
• Legal fundamentals and operator obligations according to the German Model Event Regulation
• Questions of liability
• Use of SAP (§ 40 section 5 sentence 2)
• Writing risk assessments
• Structure of a safety concept
• Organization and coordination of the event and security staff
• Cooperation and dealing with (supervisory) public authorities

“Event Managers (TÜV)” are in a position to implement the event specific constructional and procedural organization and to confidently coordinate the carrying out of events. They know how to combine the tasks of an event manager with the functions of the person responsible for the event technology or the “Qualified Supervisor according to § 40 section 5, sentence 2 of the German Model Event Regulation” in a dual role that is legally watertight.
