Relevant craftsman vocational training or proven professional experience as painter/decorator of at least 2 years.

Successful participation in the qualification of the Wallpapering Academy of A.S. Création Tapeten AG, recognized by the certification body.

Admission to the exam is granted  on a minimum attendance of 80% of the 24 teaching units.

• Written examination (Multiple Choice)
• Proof of completion of the practical training modules

During the examination participants prove their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:

• Definition of the subsurface and subsurface treatment
• Choice of tools and definition of the wallpaper paste with regard to the quality of the wallpaper to be used (preparatory measures)
• Dealing with different types of wallpaper (Pattern repeat, material, quality) / Finish according to manufacturer instruction leaflet
• Recognizing and mastering special papering situations (corners, window reveals etc.)

Successful participants are in a position to plan and carry out any type of wallpapering work.
