Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie course IT Test Expert (TÜV) recognized by the certification body. Admission to the exam is granted on a minimum attendance of 80% of the total of 24 teaching units.

Written examination (20 multiple choice questions and 2 case studies)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Objectives and fundamentals of test management
• Software lifecycle, development models and tests
• Interfaces to other areas and processes
• Test processes, test prioritising and cost planning
• Testing tools, software solutions and automation
• Implementation of test management organization and continual improvement of the test process

IT Test Experts (TÜV) have sound knowledge of systematic testing in software projects. They are capable of managing testing teams and planning as well as carrying out and documenting of tests. They have mastered the connections between error management, risk management and test management.
