Successful completion of the License Manager I examination and successful participation in the Comparex Akademie 2 day training course „License Manager II“ recognized by the certification body. Admission to the examination is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80%.

Written examination (multiple choice)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the area of implementation of Software Asset Management (SAM) and the ISO Norm 19770. This includes specifically:

• Establishing SAM within the company
• Processes – procedures in and around Software Asset Management
• Roles – the individuals involved
• Tools for License Management
• Implementation of the ISO Norm 19770

“License Managers II with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification” have the necessary competence in order to implement SAM in a company within the framework of the ISO Norm 19770.

For recertification the following requirements are to be fulfilled:

• Proof of continual professional activity with relevance to license management
• Proof of at least 8 teaching units of continuing education with relevance to license management.
