Completed vocational training or degree.
A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience with a minimum of one year in management with personnel responsibility.
Successful participation in a minimum of 3 days of training – specifically the Business Performance Academy course “Leadership Essentials” recognized by the Personnel Certification Body.

Participation is regarded as successful if the following are fulfilled:

• Essential leadership competence is shown during active participation in the role play and outdoor events during the training. The evaluation of leadership competence is carried out by the trainer using the relevant structured leadership feedback form. A minimum of 70% of the maximum number of points must be achieved.
• The results of the chosen case study presented on the 3rd day of training are evaluated with a minimum of 70% of the maximum number of points using the criteria sheet. The candidate receives 2 case studies on the second day of training. They choose one and present the results.
• The personal feedback from the Business Performance Academy trainers/coaches at the end of the training is predominantly positive ( a minimum of 60% of the maximum number of points)

• Written exam (multiple choice only)
• Oral exam

Participants prove their competence regarding the following

• in dealing with changes through empowerment of employees
• in the field of employee motivation using situational leadership
• in the field of transparent communication
• in the field of self and time management
• in the field of cooperation and thinking in networks, based on an empathetic attitude

Recertification is granted based on

• Proof of successful participation in a relevant thematic training comprising a minimum of one day during the validity period of the certification
• Proof of a minimum of 1 year professional experience in a management position with personnel responsibility
