Admission Requirements:
  • Employment within a financial services organization
  • Vocational training in a commercial environment with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in customer consultancy
  • A minimum of 2 internal audits in real customer cases, accompanied by a BAP trainer with a subsequent recommendation for participation in the exam.
  • Successful participation in the 5 day course “Generational Consultant” of the BAP Bankpartner AG recognized by the certification body.
Examination Components:

Written examination (Multiple choice and case study)

Required Competencies:

In the examination the participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • State pension systems
  • Fundamentals of statutory inheritance / possibilities of succession planning
  • Private pension schemes / prevention
  • Fundamentals of property transfer und retirement
  • Needs oriented customer consultancy

Generational Consultants with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification are familiar with the specific fundamentals and current developments of pension schemes, risk management and succession planning. They can provide comprehensive customer consultancy in all stages of life on topics of asset transfer and succession planning. They are in a position to prepare customer appointments in a structured manner and to take customer requirements into account, in order to guarantee needs oriented generational consultancy.

This qualification does not replace the necessary tax consultancy by tax advisors and lawyers, but rather involves them in the consultancy regarding financial matters.
 

Recertification:
  • Proof of a coached customer appointment within the last three months
  • Attendance at an intensive seminar (4 teaching units)
  • Written examination (multiple choice)
