Certification Program Title:Energy Sales Representative (TÜV)
Admission Requirements:
  • Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie training programme „Energy Sales Representative (TÜV)“ recognized by the certification body. Admission to the examination is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80% of the total 5 day training course.
  • Proof of relevant completed vocational training (technical or commercial) and a minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience in a technical or energy field or proof of a relevant completed technical vocational training and a minimum of 2 years sales experience.
Examination Components:

Written exam (multiple choice and open questions)

  • Fundamentals of process heating
  • Fundamentals of HVAC

  • Contracting and energy contracts
  • Sales strategies and tactics

Successful candidates gain the necessary knowledge, in order to successfully sell energy products and services. They are in a position to assess the energy situation as well as potential for energy savings and can develop and implement a suitable sales strategy and sales tactics to optimally exploit the customer potential.
