Successful participation in the Comparex Akademie 3 day training course „License Manager I“ recognized by the certification body. Admission to the examination is granted upon a minimum attendance of 80%.

Written examination (multiple choice)

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Scope and objectives of license management
• Legal fundamentals of license management
• Creation of license balance sheets
• Fundamentals of Software Asset Management
• Establishing SAM within the company
• Processes – procedures in and around Software Asset Management
• Roles – the individuals involved
• Tools for License Management

“License Managers I with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification” have the necessary competence in order to manage SAM projects from the planning to the first steps of definition of roles and responsibilities as well as the appropriate choice of tools.

For recertification the following requirements are to be fulfilled:

• Proof of continual professional activity with relevance to license management
• Proof of at least 8 teaching units of continuing education with relevance to license management.
