Completed vocational qualification in the field of events or 2 years appropriate work experience with a minimum age of 21. Successful participation in the training programme of 120 teaching units “Qualified Person for Event Safety – Film/Television (TÜV)” recognized by the certification body.

In the examination the participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Regulations, responsibilities and delegation
• Escape and rescue routes
• Preventive fire protection
• Labour and contract law
• Approval by the authorities
• Risk assessment, instruction, safety concepts

"Qualified Persons for Event Safety - Film/Television (TÜV)” can carry out risk assessments and develop corresponding safety concepts for events based on the requirements of labour and contract law. With proof of their competence they document that they are in a position to identify sources of danger as well as being able to minimize liability risks.
