Certification Program Title:Qualified Person for Event Safety (TÜV)
Admission Requirements:

Completed vocational qualification in the field of events or 2 years of appropriate work experience with a minimum age of 21. Successful participation in the 120 teaching units of the comprehensive training programme “Qualified Person for Event Safety (TÜV)” recognized by the certification body.

Examination Components:
  • Written exam (multiple choice)
  • Oral exam
Required Competencies:

In the examination participants must prove their knowledge in the following areas:

  • Regulations, responsibilities and delegation
  • Escape and rescue routes
  • Preventive fire protection
  • Labour and contract law
  • Approval by the authorities
  • Risk assessment, instruction, safety concepts

“Qualified Persons for Event Safety (TÜV)” can carry out risk assessments and develop corresponding safety concepts for events based on the requirements of labour and contract law. With proof of their competence they document that they are in a position to identify sources of danger as well as being able to minimise liability risks.
