Successful participation in the TÜV Rheinland Akademie course „Environmental Protection Manager (TÜV)“ recognized by the Personnel Certification body. Admission is granted after successful participation in module 1 “Environmental Protection Representative (TÜV)” and a minimum presence of 80% during a total of 16 teaching units.

Written exam (open questions)

In the examination the participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Basics of environmental management systems
• Requirements EMAS III, ISO 14001
• Political environmental objectives and programs
• Testing of environmental and energy efficiency
• Obstacles to implementation and motivation
• Documentation of environmental management systems
• Environmental statement and certification

The successful candidates know content, structure and requirements of environmental management systems (EMS) according to ISO 14001 and EMAS III. They are in a position to introduce company environmental management systems and to evaluate them in their efficiency.
