Degree in engineering, architecture, biology, chemistry or another discipline relevant to the field with at least three years of practical construction experience or degree as a construction technician or master craftsman in a construction-related field with at least five years of professional experience.

Successful participation in the further training course of the TÜV Rheinland Akademie "Expert for the detection and assessment of mould damage (TÜV)" with the modules "Building practice basics and their application" including proof of expertise, "Professional planning and remediation" and "Special knowledge for experts and assessors". The participant must have been present for at least 80% of the teaching units.

• Preparation of a survey

In the examination participants prove their knowledge in the following areas:

• Fundamentals of manual construction and implementation
• Building physics fundamentals and their application
• The field of technical experts

Experts in Recognition and Evaluation of Mildew Damage (TÜV) are in a position to reliably recognize, evaluate and professionally decontaminate mildew damage.

The participants prove that their competence is up-to-date in a recertification process.
