EMV/EMC Zertifikat
Electromagnetic compatibility of products
Every electrical or electronic device transmits and receives electromagnetic waves. These emissions can mutually affect the devices concerned. The test mark of TÜV Rheinland for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of products indicates that the requirements of the EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive are complied with.
After type examination the manufacture of products, which have received this test mark, is regularly monitored. The test mark is awarded by TÜV Rheinland, inter alia, for the following products: Alarm systems, household and leisure products, industrial machinery, components, lamps, medical devices, laboratory equipment.
The certification is voluntary. Certified products may be labelled with a test mark. The certification is valid as long as the test specifications are up to date and the certificate has not been terminated, neither by the customer nor by TÜV Rheinland. The validity of the certificate expires if changes are made to the product.
