CB Certificate Japan
Testing of Electrical Products
This certificate was issued by one of TÜV Rheinland’s four National Certification Bodies (NCBs): In Germany: TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH (DE-certificates), in Japan: TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. (JP-certificates), in the United States: TÜV Rheinland of North America Inc. (NA-certificates), in Hungary: TÜV Rheinland InterCert Kft. (HU-certificates).
The certificates are based on the IECEE CB scheme (IEC = International Electrotechnical Commission, IECEE = IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components).
The certificate shows that the tested product sample is compliant with the specific standard(s) listed on the certificate. This certificate does not imply an assessment of the production of the product and does not permit the use of a TÜV Rheinland test mark.
Although the validity of a CB certificate is basically unlimited, it is incumbent on other NCBs to accept it as a basis for issuing their own national certificates.
