Certificate of conformity of the factory production control (FPC) according to EN 1090-1

The EN 1090-1 is a harmonized European standard for Factory Production Control (FPC) system of  manufacturers making construction products. This includes products such as steel or aluminum components that are used in building, bridges, towers or other civil engineering projects.

The manufacturer must install an FPC system as described in EN 1090-1. Our expert auditors analyze and evaluate the organizations' processes and systems, if all necessary specified requirements are fulfilled.

TÜV Rheinland is the Notified Body and performs the initial inspection and the periodic surveillance audits of the FPC system of the manufacturer.

This certificate confirms that all requirements for assessment and verification of constancy of performance of the construction as described in the Annex ZA of the standard EN 1090-1 are fulfilled , the organisation is certified.

This certification is mandatory for the production and delivering construction product according to Regulation (EU) No 305/2011. The Certification is relevant for the manufacturer who declares construction products with a CE Marking in accordance to the Regulation (EU) No 305/2011.

This certificate remains valid as long as the mentioned in the harmonized standard not change the conformity assessment procedures and / or requirements for the factory production control for evaluating the performance of the declared characteristics and the product and the manufacturing conditions are not substantially altered.

Certified organizations may use the test mark in their communications.
